I don’t get why #developers use horrible and inconsistent naming conventions. “This was done like five years ago, so….” We didn’t know how to name things five years ago?
After trying 3 different web based project management systems, we finally get to try @omni ’s OmniPlan. I am really excited. I have been a OmniFocus user since it was a pile of scripts on OmniOutliner.
I have to look up how to create a user and database in any database.. EVERY SINGLE TIME..
i need to look at fastmail. the only deal breaker. does it do encrypted email?
Man, do I hate giving blood.
Reasons why I switched back to OmniFocus
- My life really is too complicated to plan on paper. That’s not a sin.
- While I LOVE #emacs and #org-mode, the lack of mobile access to task lists creates double entries and fudging text around.
After being away from @omni OmniFocus for several years (used a paper based system, and org-mode) I am back. Now I am wanting to try out OmniOutline again. I still have a license, but I think I am a version or two behind.
I haven’t been on here in a long time! Time to start posting again. Is there integration with the apple Photo app? Did i just miss it? it would be cool to be able to share directly from photos.
Some applications I ALWAYS have running: Emacs, Mathematica, Grammarly, Drafts. How about you?
say, @manton .. i think i remember signing up for a book on the micro blog platform. Did i miss the release?
Can someone show me examples of photo blogs using micro.blig?
say, @manton .. how do we go about tagging our images as photos so they show up in the photo “discover” gig?
Baby at Hobby Lobby getting her christmas list together.
What if it turned out that we all thought animals were friendly because they can’t speak. What if they learned to talk, and we found out they were just a bunch of jerks like everyone else?
Does anyone have any input on the current #Wiki software currently available? We will need to incorporate one, but not sure which are the current favorites. Thanks!
They say cache invalidation is the hardest computer science problem. Not true. Reliably getting an email to a user’s email is the hardest problem.
I have always wanted to throw a “text adventure” party, where there were a few machines running around playing “Zork”, “Pyramid 2000”, and “Haunted House”..
